Today's baking was for my friend Sam and her bridal party gals as they were hosting a bridal shower for their dear friend. So much time and planning has gone into this shower and the details just had to be perfect. The girls did not spare anything in planning for Ashley, the bride, as she was showered with love at a "50's Housewife" themed event. Knowing my love of baking, Sam recruited me to make cupcakes that looked like mini cherry pies. Needless to say, it was so much fun and while I was busy at work, I couldn't help but to think of all kinds of different variations! There may be more mini-pie-cupcakes in the future! They were so fun to make!
Ashley, I hope that you enjoyed your special day and that my cupcakes made it just a little more special!
